The IMT-GT program emphasizes private sector participation, establishing it as part of the driving approach in the Vision 2036 (IMT-GT Vision 2036) that the private sector serves as a key partner in jointly driving the program with provincial/state government organizations. Therefore, most IMT-GT program meetings include representatives from the IMT-GT Business Council to listen to voices and opinions from the private sector.
Latest Progress
Currently, the IMT-GT program is promoting the Joint Business Council (JBC) as a growth driving mechanism in IMT-GT to enhance cooperation with governments and stakeholders through strengthening the institutional mechanisms of JBC at both national and subregional levels.
