Given the characteristics of the IMT-GT subregion, which is rich in cultural and natural resources, the IMT-GT program aims to develop connectivity between strategic areas to support cross-border tourism routes. This enhances sustainability, equality, and competitiveness of the subregion, with the key objective of becoming a Single Destination.

Recent Progress
Currently, progress in implementing projects and activities under the IMT-GT Visit Year 2023-2025 campaign includes awareness-building through various forums and joint development of performance indicators. This covers tourism marketing communication planning and tourist data collection in the subregion. Additionally, discussions have been held with the Transport Connectivity Working Group to develop tourism route connectivity among IMT-GT countries.
