Thailand Country Programme Phase I

Background and Significance
Thailand and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) have maintained a close relationship over many years. In 2018, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Thai government and the OECD to initiate the Country Programme, making Thailand the first country in Southeast Asia to do so. The goal is to drive Thailand’s reform agenda in various areas, as well as to exchange knowledge and expertise, and support the implementation of OECD standards effectively and concretely.
